Rep Fitness

Whether it’s for Memorial day or just to move old inventory, Rep Fitness is offering some huge discounts on their excellent barbells.

You can also snag a pair of 45lbs iron plates for $30 off their usual price.

 

Hydrow

You can think of Hydrow as the Peloton of rowing machines (for now…it’s rumored that Peloton is coming out with a rowing machine later this year).

That is, fantastic build quality, but only worth getting if you’re into the classes.

They’re discounting their rower by $500 and tossing in some accessories, free 1:1 coaching, and free delivery.

 

Onnit

Onnit is offering 10% all their fitness equipment, including their top-tier kettlebells (our review) and sandbags.

They’re offering 50% discounts on many of their on-demand workout courses, including Onnit 6 Barbell and Onnit 6 Bodyweight.

 

Schwinn Fitness

Schwinn is cutting the price of their great IC4 Indoor Cycling Bike (our review) by $200. It comes with free shipping and a complimentary 1-year membership to JRNY, Bowflex’s on-demand fitness product.

 

Bowflex

Bowflex, which shares the same parent company as Schwinn, is also having a big sale on bikes. You’ll want to compare prices for models that are the same except for the branding (e.g. the Schwinn IC4 is the same as the Bowflex C6).

What’s notable here is that Bowflex is cutting the price of our Best Overall spin bike, the VeloCore, by $200 (our review).

 

TRX

TRX is offering 20% off many of its products, including its namesake strap system.

 

Fringe Sport

Fringe Sport is offering anywhere between $47 to $184 off their durable and precise black bumper plate sets (our review). Best of all, shipping is free.

 

Ativafit

As part of their Father’s Day Sale, Ativafit is offering 20% off their adjustable dumbbell sets.

Fitness Program Review: Mark Lauren On Demand

Mark Lauren On Demand (MLOD) is a subscription-based bodyweight workout website and app. I have subscribed to MLOD for a little over two years now and this is my long-term review. What you get For $89.99 a year or $14.99 a month you get access to instructor-led bodyweight workouts (by Mark Lauren), an online community, and instructor Q&A. The workouts are organized into an eight month progression of increasingly difficult 8-12 week programs, such as “Bodyweight 2.0”, and “The 90-Day Challenge”. After the first eight months, you can follow additional programs like “ Strength Training for Runners ” and “ YAYOG [you are your own gym] Strength Training ”. More usefully, after a couple programs you’ll have learned enough new exercises to do a much better job designing your own workouts. Rogue 24kg (53lbs) powder-coat kettlebell: good with a minor (funny) flaw

Summary Rogue’s standard kettlebell looks pretty and works great, but doesn’t quite match the quality standards set by other manufacturers. If you’re a brand loyalist, you won’t regret the purchase. Otherwise, consider other options such as Onnit , Again Faster , Kettlebell Kings , or Rogue’s other line of made-in-USA kettlebells . Why you can trust this review We purchased this kettlebell at full retail price and have been using it almost daily for a few weeks. Additionally, for this kettlebell we spent an hour and a half taking precise measurements and creating a to-scale digital silhouette you can use to compare the size and shape of this kettlebell to others (more reviews coming soon).
